Leading care home management software brand, CoolCare, has announced a new partnership with carehome.co.uk, the UK’s leading care home review site for this year’s Top 20 Care Home Awards.
Based on carehome.co.uk reviews from home residents and their families and friends, the awards are compiled from over 92,000 submissions across the UK, between 28 February 2018 and 2020. The reviews are analysed for aspects, including value for money, quality of care, staff, facilities, activities and the overall standard.
CoolCare’s care home management software solutions give invaluable support to care home administration teams, by digitising and streamlining day-to-day management tasks, including occupancy management, time and attendance monitoring as well as rotas and invoicing.
Fiona Hale, Managing Director of CoolCare, said: “The carehome.co.uk Awards are the pinnacle of care home accolades as they represent the views of those living and visiting care homes. The reputational value this brings to care homes is super important for spreading the word about their home and keeping their occupancy levels high.
“That’s why CoolCare is delighted to be supporting these awards through our sponsorship. We see first-hand through our care home management software the benefits that good carehome.co.uk reviews have in generating enquiries and keeping homes full. As passionate advocates of efficient and effective care home management, this partnership with carehome.co.uk is a perfect fit for our ethos of helping residential care businesses to boost their revenues.”
The carehome.co.uk Awards have a special significance this year and will be more important than ever in helping families to choose the right care home for their loved ones. The process of shortlisting homes is made more complex by the special measures that have been taken to protect residents during the Covid19 lockdown. The carehome.co.uk Awards will provide the critical level of detail that is so important to help families make the right decisions.
Simon Potter, sales director for carehome.co.uk said: “We are very happy to be working alongside CoolCare for the carehome.co.uk 2020 Top 20 Care Home Awards. This is our seventh year running the awards and they grow in popularity each year; this is without doubt because they are exclusively based on the opinions of care home residents and their friends or family. Being able to display an award to care seekers highlights that the highest possible standards of care are being provided.
“For us, working with Fiona and the team at CoolCare seemed a perfect fit due to their longevity in helping the sector; providing software which enables them to increase efficiencies and improve working practices during a time when care homes face so many challenges. It’s great to have them on board!”
As well as supporting the carehome.co.uk Awards, CoolCare is also working with the care industry to help them at this time of immense pressure. With Government regulations stating that working must be remote where possible, CoolCare is currently offering UK care homes free software to help their head office staff access resident and staff records remotely during the Covid19 pandemic.
Free for at least three months, the software – a basic version of the CoolCare4 system – is on offer to care homes that do not currently have any management software in place. The basic version allows healthcare management to continue core business functions, while working remotely, including occupancy management, resident invoicing and staff records to monitor training, appraisal and relevant pre-start checks.
